For the purposes of this privacy policy, an aeroweb member is defined as an Aerospace Education Officer, Aerospace Educator, Team Director, Team Assistant, Mentor, Competitor, Coordinator or other individual associated with the platform.

Basic Policy

Aeroweb values the right to privacy of its members and their right to limit the use of their names and other identifying personal information as they see fit.

Aeroweb uses mailing and member lists in the ways described below. In each case, the member may elect to stop such use by contacting the Aeroweb Administrator.

Registration

Only adult aerospace and STEM educators can register to this platform. Aeroweb will email members in our platform to complete the registration process.

Solicitations

From time to time Aeroweb mails information about membership to eligible adult participants.

List Rentals

Aeroweb never sells mailing lists of names and addresses. However, Aeroweb may share email addresses of Aerospace Education Officers and Mentors with organizations we partner with to conduct learning activities. Additionally, Aeroweb may share contact information of Aerospace Education Officers, Team Directors, Mentors, or Coordinators with StellarXplorers Centers of Excellence points of contact or Air Force chapters who may be able to offer resources to the aeroweb members.

Programmatic E-Mail

Aeroweb will send education-related materials to Aerospace Education Officers, Team Directors and Mentors. Aeroweb will send Aeroweb emails to Coordinators. Any individual may opt-out of these e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the e-mail or by contacting the Aeroweb Administrator. Opting out of the emails will mean that you will not receive critical educational updates. Aeroweb receives statistics showing us how many people opened the e-mail and what links they clicked to read. This helps us know what members have accessed the education-related emails.

Broadcast E-Mail

Aeroweb sends broadcast e-mails periodically to members. Any individual may opt-out of these e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the e-mail or by contacting the Aeroweb Administrator. Aeroweb receives statistics showing us how many people opened the e-mail and what information they clicked to read.

Internship Opportunities

Aeroweb sponsors offer internship opportunities to Aeroweb members. Aeroweb will send Aerospace Education Officers and Team Directors information about available internship opportunities as they become available. Any individual may opt-out of these e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the e-mail or by contacting the Aeroweb Administrator.

Surveys

Aeroweb sends occasional surveys to Aeroweb members. These surveys help us understand how to improve our platform and what impact our educational goals has had on the Civil Air Patrol cadets and their education and career goals and experiences.

If you want to be excluded from any or all of these mailings or lists, you may do so by e-mail to the Aeroweb Administrator at cap@aeroweb.info. Be sure to include your complete name and email address to allow us to remove you from mailings.
